Description:
3-1-1 Put paper under the cleaning area after taking out the PCDU, this to prevent the screw from dropping inside the machine.
3-1-2 Do not touch OPC drums when remove/attach toner shield bracket. -> Remove drum before remove toner shield glass.
3-1-3 Wipe toner shield glass with dry optical cloth. Don't use alcohol to wipe the toner shield glass.
3-1-4 Wipe dust cover glass only in one direction to prevent fiber of cloth remaining on the glass.
3-1-5 Toner shield glass is made of glass, so be careful!
3-1-6 Running DEMS/DSC after finishing the cleaning, since OPC Drums is once removed.
Machine operators can replace certain units and perform cleaning to maintain good machine condition.
From a product quality perspective:
Less jams and machine troubles will maintain high uptime.
From a print quality perspective:
Keeping the inside of the machine clean will help prevent print quality issues caused by scattered toner and/or paper dust.
