This tutorial shows how to Swop the Black and Special color positions.
Reason to do this is to be able to print the Special color FIRST on a sheet of paper. This gives the possibility to print 5 colors in 1 print pass on dark media making sure you start printing White first. On the previous model we first had to print white and then do a second pass with CMYK.
Important:
If the image density difference in the area perpendicular to the feed direction is noticeable when the special color (white) and black toners return to their original positions, adjusting the image is needed. Specify the following settings:
- [Adjustment Settings for Operators] -> 10: [Density Difference Printing: Across Feed] -> Select tray -> [Execute]
- [Adjustment Settings for Operators] -> 02: [Machine: Image Quality] -> 0201: [Execute Image Quality Adjustment] -> [Density Difference: With Fd] -> [Execute]
